Coaching differs from consulting in the direction of solutions. Rather than a consultant putting solutions in to a leader a coach helps draw solutions out of a leader's heart, experience and to discover God's direction given his individual context.

Coaching with Dr. Tom Clegg involves a monthly focused conversation built around a leaders mission, vision and values. The conversation begins before the phone ever rings or arriving at the coffee shop with responding to questions loaded onto the on-line coaching tool available through a subscription at www.coachnet.org. Preparation by the coach and the client is a critical key to coaching success. The appointment begins promptly at the agreed upon time and lasts for up to 90 minutes. The coach and client will work through an agenda driven by the clients needs not the coaches program. Focusing upon goals and objectives for the purpose of spiritual engagement, leadership development and behavioral change help release a leader into deeper reflection, increased capacity and more fruitful practices.
